Recently the water faucets in the college restrooms are getting replaced. We asked Mr. Marc Posner about what exactly is going on, how much the cost is, and if the school saving money for  the long run by doing this?

"…We are replacing  some faucets in some restrooms they need to be replaced with new batterys,"replied Mr Posner when asked what exactly is happening with the restroom faucets. They were not manufactured  and installed properly. He said that they would be replaced with 35 automatic faucets.

When asked about how much it would cost he answered "The manufacturer replaced the old hardware at no cost since we were not satisfied with the product. The only cost incurred was the labor of campus staff to replace the faucets. However, the old automatic faucets had labor costs associated with them since they required attention to the problems we were having with them not operating properly. The only cost is the labor to replace them.under warranty."

And lastly we asked if the college saving money on this for the long run?  "We don't project either a cost or a cost savings with the new faucets. The new faucets won't require batteries, though not all of the old ones were battery operated. However, there may be a time savings as the new faucets will require less maintenance"

So by replacing the old stinking faucets with automatic ones, we can worry about one less thing  in our busy college kid lives.
