Two days before the opening, 30 students worked around the clock handling the pieces of art for display at the show.  "If there is something we can't do, we can over come it," said student Robert Lopez..

According to Curator Dan Stephens, the Orange County Woodworkers Association contributes most of the artists for the show.  Stephens organizes the show and contacts each artist.  Working with Cypress College students, Stephens delicately handles each piece of art.

"We use white gloves while working with the pieces and place the art with what relates to each other," said Stephens.

A selection by the finest woodworkers including Sam Maloof, who recently died, will be on display. "There is going to be wood turning, furniture, and musical instruments," said Devon Tsuno, instructor and gallery director.
