The Chargers softball team hosted the Riverside College Tigers on Wednesday.

It was a slow couple of innings to start out the game.  The first run scored did not come until the fourth inning when Jackie Orosco #21 hit a line drive to left field to get the first RBI of the game.

That run helped the Chargers finish the 4th inning with some power.  They scored three more runs in the 4th with RBI's by Jennifer Aandreud , Katrina Pinkowski  who almost hit it out of the park, and Amanda Fama  who helped finish off the inning with a 4-0 lead on the Tigers.

Pinkowski also pitched a great game allowing only one hit before the Chargers brought in pitch Melissa Cascio in the 6th inning.

"Today was a big game to keep our undefeated season.  Im glad I was able to pull off what I did," Pinkowski said.

The 5th inning was also a big inning for the Chargers with three RBI's and two walks.  The lady Chargers were on top of their game, keeping their undefeated season going.

"I am very proud of the ladies this season.  If they keep working hard like they have been there is no doubt that they could win it all this year," coach Brad Pickler said.

After playing the Tigers today, the Chargers will head back on the road playing Orange Coast on Friday.  Their next home game is March 17 against Santa Ana.
