MSA Will Host "Misconceptions of Islam"

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) will host a "Misconceptions of Islam" event on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. in Humanities Lecture Hall Room 131. The guest speaker is Hussam Ayloush, the executive director of CAIR-LA.

At the Nov. 19 InterClub Council meeting, MSA President Hamad Nasordeen said that his club doesn't feel that media portrayal of Muslims are very accurate. "We want to combat that."

Food and refreshments will be served after the event, according to an MSA campus flier.
